I'm confused by that whole scene. The red emanations imply he went demon mode and took all those guys out but we never got to see it lol. And why senior Lu is grabbing her sword is beyond me, especially after she's seen his power and was the first to vouch for him at the trial🤷‍♂️. I'd love see this MC do at least something cool but I'm not gonna get it LOL. Bet my last dollar Bi Yao dies trying to save the MCs backside (like everyone else) in the last two eps ughh.

i too suspect someone will die.. as for him being cool idk i dont think this mc needs it.. all the other mc's out there are cool to some extent he can be an exception for now.. him bei8ng uncertain is what gives this series its charm. He is powerful but he doesnt know enough about anything for him to develop some initiative and a goal..i think once he gains a goal he will engage in some interesting character development

yh, based on the reviews I read, this show is the epitome of tragedy so just be ready. MC later joined the dark side for some reasons, and the show focuses on team work so the mc is not op nor does he do cool stuff (based on what I read). They might change things in the donghua though

The red aura pouring out of him in the scene shows that he is losing it. It is same with 2-3 episodes ago, he lost control when he heard the news of Tian Ling'Er (Senior Sis) getting married and lashed out at his Senior Brother but this time is worse.
